Balinda Li

Chair

Balinda is the founder of Mindfulness Space and a co-founder of the China-Canada Mindfulness Association (CCMA). She serves as a faculty member and mentor in Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) at the Centre for Mindfulness Studies. She has earned a certificate from the Institute for Meditation & Psychotherapy (IMP) and completed training as a Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) teacher through the Center for Mindful Self-Compassion (CMSC) at UC San Diego.

Balinda is also a facilitator of the Mindfulness-Based Cancer Recovery (MBCR) program at Wellspring, Canada. She is an accomplished columnist and writer for newspapers and new media, as well as the translator of Growing Up Mindful (English to Simplified Chinese). Balinda holds a Master’s degree from Vlerick Business School.
